Finally I changed the big clutch spring to a Malossi white.
It is balanced the Malossi belt. If you bought a Malossi belt, you will need a white spring.

I have a barely used (200km)14gr Dr Pulley rollers to SELL!! Send a PM if you interested in...

"what is the part # for the air hi flo filter,   for the oil filter it is hf 566"

De dee, there isn't a part number, I got the foam pad from a British company called Ramair, I paid £9.98 for a sheet 600mm x 400mm, enough for 3 filters!

I cut out the paper element from the original, then drew an outline around the entire filter, and cut it out, I left an extra 3or 4mm around the edge, made holes for the bolts and screwed it back together.
I know its sealed because the foam is tight around the original paper element hole.

And today I am doing a mini service, changing oil (5w50 fully synthetic) filter (HF566) and gear oil (75w90 fully synthetic)
Cheers,
Don

Na... You're too late on posting. Don't count!

Post back tomorrow, and tell us how you dismounted the tire, and re-installed it. That will validate it.

sorry I wasn't specific. the tyre was replaced by a mechanic not me. don't have the tools/experience doing it myself. and I wanted to have the new tyre balanced as well. so I took the bike and new tyre to a motorcycle shop and paid for the service.
so all I did was purchase the tyre online and took the bike and tyre to the service..... :)

Hell Nu... Now you have to tell us how you drove the bike back to have to tire remounted so you could validate the thread.

Why are the simplest of things the ones that get so frigin' complicated? Oww!

Re: What did you do to your DownTown today? dr. pulley sliders
« Reply #74 on: October 16, 2014, 11:10:46 PM »
I ordered dr. pulley sliders   21/15  16 grams,.  took the Wt.s out of the sliders then ground them down to 12 mm.,  then took the Wt.s out of the original rollers that came with the scooter,. and put them in the new sliders, that made the new sliders 14 grams,  tried them out today and my RPM. is lowered at cruising speed,  65 to 70 MPH.  6,000 RPM.  on the next fill up I will try for high MPG.,    oh yes,  I had to glue the Wt.s in as they get hot it will come apart,.
