What did you do to your DownTown today?

A simple thread to update our fellow DownTown owners with what's been happening.

So to begin the thread.

I replaced my rear tire from the OE mounted Maxxis Pro to the Michelin Pilot Pure SC at 7452km on the clock. From the inspection of the front tire, a new Pilot Pure SC planned for next month.

just fitted an x-creen touring today. have to wait untill tomorrow to see what difference it makes. hopefully loads!!  ;D ;D

We have had a great number of large trucks hauling gravel for a flood prevention berm down my street for the past two weeks. The dropped dirt makes lots of dust and the town is constantly watering the street, so the scoot has become a mess. Today with the temps in the mid 20's oC, it was time to do a super wash. Did a job like Vivo has done for him. Took over an hour to wash every little nook and cranny. Looks great now. No more trucks either.

Last Friday, replaced stock Maxxis Front tire with Metzeler FeelFree at 4900mi
(still have some thread left, but the tire is not in a good round shape so I decided to replace it)
Big handling improvement with Metzeler

Today swapped to iridium spark plug (ngk cr7eix) and added a tender to battery to facilitate  charging the  battery from under the seat with a trickle charger,just in case .......,also when the seat cover was off I adjusted the throttle cable ,it was way too loose ,I like my throttle play the least possible ,and that's it . 8)

did you notice any improvement? I just put in CR8EIX last week.

Some couples find as they age separate bedrooms work. We have found separate houses in different states is the key to getting along......

Funny thing is she would never think about getting on the back of my old HD but a scooter no issues.
