Next- The results,Pro, The bike will sip gas now around town at 35mph and under. There is no stress on the motor, takes less than an 1/8th throttle to mantain this speed,at a 1\4 throttle will hold to under 50mph all day long. When needed the thing does have some umph now and will not cut your rev's if you need that little bit more. Has a great feel to it now with the handling of a 50cc Vary nice!!!
The cons, I did not get my 70+ out of it yet! It will hold an indicated 70+ but we all know it's 4 mph optimistic. You will be sacrificing some mpg's for the top end power(small price to pay in my book) and the model has been difficult to get good parts info on even from the factory, for instance the actuel belt size! I think i got it figured out a malossi 795x19.8x30 (not verified) would like to try a little longer one though.
So to sum it all up,The mods were positive and changed the bike for the better in my opinion(I did not get authorization if wondering
) I'm in it for the cost of the 16g rollers and a jet(left over from another project) I feel that kymco just missed a home run with this model. The bottle neck being the internal gearing, cause the motor is sweet in this frame!
Still got some tinkering to do. I aint done yet! Hopfully ya'll can read this cause if ya can't frankly my dear i don't give a damn
