Just replaced the seat after 70,000km. The 2013 seat is much better than the 2011 seat - there's at least 30mm of extra sponge for the rider and pillon.

Bought a phone cradle and installed it on my left hand mirror stem low down. I bought a aluminium cradle that hods the phone very securely. I had to increase the diameter by wrapping black insulation tape around the stem. I then drilled a hole in the cubby hole with the 12v power supply. I drilled it low down on the right hand side. I then used some coat hanger wire and ran a charging cable for the phone through the hole up to the phone all hidden by the plastic and under the rubber boot at the bottom of the mirror stem. Sealed up the hole in the plastic hidey hole with some silastic and installed Sygic. This program has very vivid colours for navigating with your phone and works ok in the sun. Now I can see what king of corners I’m riding into. Just have to watch the truck coming towards me as well

Can you just insure it for theft?

It's been raining for a month in Sydney now. I'd like to say once again that nothing compares to Pirelli Diablos and Diablo Rossos for grip in the wet.

my tools are worth more than the scooter, so the garage is locked up and they would take newer scooters that are insured,.  I worry more for my snowblower tractor as it is bigger and parked outside, and worth more,

is that hotter or colder than what was in it ,.  I put a iridium plug in mine a few years ago , checked it a few times and it always looks like new, must have 40,000 Km. on it, on my van I put over 100,000 Km. on them

The 8 is a 'colder' plug than the 7.

Consensus seems to say that the colder plug would be more suitable if the engine is being under in a hotter climate (such as tropical Malaysia) as well as running long distances ( I do 90km a day round trip to work and back).

I Replaced the factory Maxxi rear tire with Shinko SR568.

3800miles on it, 1100 was me.

Not sure how many miles you're supposed to get on a scooter rear tire but lets see how many I get out of the Shinko since it was the lowest price.

Sure handles better.

1) Factory fitted Maxxis: 6000kms
2) Michelin PP SC: 10000kms
3) Diablo Rosso SC: 10000kms

Front:

Michelin PP SC: 30000kms
Diablo Rosso SC: 20000kms
