Hint: there's no clue on this site how to post photos.  Some know how to do it, but they're not telling how it's done.  The rest of us do without :-(

These Piaggios are really nice machines, and a blast to ride.  But they're horribly unreliable and a nightmare to diagnose and repair. Everything runs along nicely until, on the highway a day's ride from home . . . it just stops.  But, that said, they're still a fun ride.

This is a very challenging Kymco model.  I've even struggled, unsuccessfully, with one myself.  It has a Siemens ECU that can only be de-mystified by a Kymco dealer using the Kymco diagnostics tools.  Parts are not difficult to order (I'm able to get Kymco parts easily online from a service center in France). But without the proper tools, you can spend a lot of time and money getting nowhere.  I sincerely recommend taking it to a Kymco service center.

You can work your fingers to the bone trying to get one of these scoots to go faster, but all you'll do in the end is blow up the engine!  50cc machines are "What you see is what you get".  If you want to go faster, sell your 50cc while it's still running and get a 125cc!

Super 8 150 / Re: change to LED signal lights?

my S200 had a 3 pin connector that I wasn't able to match up with an aftermarket flasher relay so I just cut the connector off the wires and connected the 3 wires from the scoot to the 3 wires on the flasher relay. Here's a few pics of mine (OEM) that I found.
That's the same problem I had with my Kymco; the 3-wire LED flashers are hard to find, and the "how-to" info is equally scarce.  If you're able to tell us how you wired the new LED flasher into the non-LED Kymco wiring, it would be hugely appreciated!
PS: in the end, I simply wired in a pair or resistors (one for each side) since It appears that there's not a lot of energy involved anyway.  By far the easiest solution.

New Englander's are a "different" bunch🙃

Yes, and they speak with a funny accent, too!

Not sure about a Like or a People, but my Sento 100 is finished in Kymco factory original metallic pink.  Like Porsche Pink!  I can confess to one reaction: endless women comment,"That's a really cute bike!"  They never said a word when I was on my black Harley. So I'm always pleased to reply with kind words, such as "Do you want to come for a ride?  You'll have to sit on my knee . . ." or some such.

that is current issue, lack of fueling stations outside of California
They must be getting subsidies from on high, then?  Not every region is willing to pay extra for electricity to create exotic combustion fuels.

I wonder,  do you mean that your Kymco dealer sold only Kymcos, and nothing else?
I was always surprised he could survive with just those few scooter sales.   I was right - he didn't, and closed up about 5 years ago.  The Kymco sign is still on the building, but it's now a Benz repair shop. There are no Kymco dealers, no parts, no service in Canada now.

Where I live, Honda has an edge over all other dealers by also selling cars, tractors, generators, snow-mobiles, outboard motors, and on and on.  As a result, they have very durable dealerships even though their scooters aren't that exciting.

My original Kymco dealer only had scooters, and simply couldn't survive with such a tiny product line.

hydrogen might work better
Recall that you have to MAKE hydrogen.  It's not free.  Like ethanol, you usually have to use some kind of fuel to generate the end result.  If you're not being government subsidized, it's going to be more expensive.

The process here is usually what everyone goes through trying to find the ideal tire pressure.  The front can be much lower without causing a lot of trouble because it naturally wears much more slowly than the rear.  The only downside is that a hard bump at 20psi could damage the alloy rim.  So I tend to s-l-o-w to almost a stop when crossing sidewalk bumps. That seems to work.

I wouldn't ride in rain without a good windshield.  I used to do it but finally came to my senses. I also stopped riding open motorcycles because I didn't like going to work with my shoes full of water!

this is stator error?
Definitely not a "stator error" - sounds like an old battery.

JJJ, don't know where you are located at but for me here in Italy this link worked and works to order such an item...

Thanks, Ruffus.  It's an incredibly flaky website, so I'd really be buying a pig in a poke.  One user complained that there's no instructions, for example. Think I'd prefer buying through Amazon where I could return it if it didn't work!  Think I'll wait until you (or others) explain if you're able to make it work OK :-)
