Sunrise is about 7:55. Overnight rains, our first in several weeks, trees in full fall splendor.
Climbing on the scooter at 6:00am for a trip to my coffee village, I'm thinking of several very tight, downhill turns on my route....and the caution I'll need to exercise.
Then I hit miles of newly "grooved pavement" which lead me to alter my route after 3 miles of that stuff. (Scooters don't like wet grooved dark pavement, or at least I don't)
Added several miles to my trip but it is a balmy 53°, so no worries.
I get away with this foolishness because I'm thinking ahead, and, importantly - not dealing with heavy traffic pushing from behind at this hour of the day.
Take it easy folks....the leaves are on the roads.
