I'll listen to anything except for Country music. My radio is usually on Classic Rock, Modern Rock, R&B/Hip-Hop and Classical. Which ever catches my mood.

Kymco News / Re: How'd you learn to ride a motorcycle?
« on: December 16, 2016, 12:54:31 AM »
Car was just sitting collecting dust and sucking up money for insurance so I convinced the wife that I should sell it and get a scooter(150cc of course). Day I picked up my new scooter it was lightly raining and I got 10 meters from the shop and hit a Streetcar track at the wrong angle and dropped the scooter braking the right side mirror.  My first true riding experience. I really learned to ride by doing it thats it.

When a car/truck turns in front of a scooter/motorcycle  coming the opposite direction they dont realize the speed we are doing do to the lack of size which masks our speed.  I see it all the time as I am on my scooters or in my company cars.

Hell I don't even need to be on two wheels to see bad drivers or getting hit.
The other day my youngest daughter and I were going to get her baby brother ant day care the light we were waiting for was just about changed to green for us to cross when I noticed a silver Accord doing close to 90-100KPH trying to make a light that is only red north-south for 45 seconds(we were crossing West-East) Just as my daughter(she is only 7) was ready to step onto the street I held her back just before he speed by her right foot at the curb well after the light turned red also just missed being hit by the Truck making a left turn. We watched as he almost plowed into the back of a car that turned right  a little while earlier (15-20 seconds?) and taking out a car in the left lane that went through the intersection just before it turned red.

nope Diesels here are still have to do the Drive Clean as well.  From the smallest VW to the biggest  anything with a GVWR of 4500Kg. Farm diesels are exempted

A "Drive Clean" or E-Check is mandatory on all cars and trucks in Ontario that are over 5 years every two years to get your validation sticker. Dumbest idea ever as I have only seen a handful of vehicles that truly fail the test i over 12 years in a shop. I've seen cars that would fail  safety and should not be on the road but it passes drive clean so its good to go.
Motorcycles and scooters are exempt from the test.

Best cursing speed for my Movie 150 is in the 75-80 KPH range. Happens to get the best fuel consumption at those speeds also.

If you look at a picture of the AK550 you will notice that the driver sits right at the  front of the engine pivot mount, where as others you sit behind that point. So with a driver the 50/50 split still occurs but add a passenger  and all bets are off.

Get me a Racing King 180 and I would drive to all 30 major League Ball parks to see a game as well as going to see all 9 CFL  teams at home.

Looks good but would have to sit on it before I would make a concrete decision.  200-300cc engine would make me get out of my Movie
