175cc liquid cooled dream. This is the scooter i would  go for in a heartbeat if it were to come to NA.

but sadly it never will. Neither will the new Racing S 150

I do love my Movie 150 but at times I do feel that 180-250cc engine in it would suit me better. Yes there are quite a few flat spots in my neck of the woods but the hills when they do appear can be steep and numerous. The extra cc's would help lower my RPMs on the back road where vehicles are going over 80+KPH on a regular basis and staying at over 80KPH raises my fuel consumption and lowers my range.
So a scooter with my Movies size/weight about 113KG/250lbs with a 200cc engine would be best

i believe they are slightly different. go by the year of your scooter and look on the bottom of the engine near the clutch area there should be an engine code either SA10AL(Fever) for the older model and SA10AS(Super Fever) for the newer model.
I use Racing Planet to find my parts: http://www.racingplanetusa.com/index.php?shop_ID=1&olevel0=2&olevel1=876&olevel2=&level0=2&level1=622&level2=

Movie 150 / Re: Where can I get parts?
« on: May 09, 2018, 01:01:43 AM »
Its a 2013 that I bought new from the crate in the Spring of 2014. It was either that or a used B&W 250 with 13000+Km on the clock. It was the colour and it's size that sealed the deal(plus $500 off the scoot). On the down note it has a rev limiter on it as it will not go past 9100rpm(106KPH) trust me going down a huge hill or on a flat road it simply will not go past 9100rpm. but I have a feelin that's just to stop someone(like me) from over revving the thing to death even though Im not at those speeds too often

Yeah it was pretty expensive for a 150 without FuelInjection. $3900 before taxes here in my neck of the woods. Lucky for me I have a plenty of places for me to get parts for it.  Including the head store for KYMCO Canada right here in Toronto.

The Movie150 has a different engine then the rest of KYMCO's NA Lineup. So its air filter is not compatible/interchangeable with any of the other engines in KYMCO's NA scooters. KYMCOpartsmonster doesn't even list the Movie on it's web page.
The only place other then my local KYMCO shop is this place in the UK  https://picclick.co.uk/Air-filter-BMC-FM713-04-sport-KYMCO-MOVIE-150-302560191969.html
Good luck Mate.

Bought my first 150cc scooter and rode it home. Then rode it the next day after that. Learn as you go.

At least two or three times. Mostly after servicing the engine.

General Discussion / Re: Are you really buying 93Octane?
« on: October 06, 2017, 09:03:15 PM »
I live in Mississauga Ontario Canada(city directly west of Toronto) and as odd as it may seem my Movie doesnt  like the higher grade fuels. With either 93/95 it sputters, hesitates, doesnt like to start and feels like it lost power. And its not me my wife has experienced it as well when she was on a day long ride for International Womens ride day and she put in 95 half way though the ride and she was having trouble with it til she refilled it the next day.
