Hi xciting500#, I have never seen Greg on this forum apart from this one post in 2013.
Anyways, re your clutch issue.
From what I have read over the years on these forums, the answer will be various reasons cause clutch symptoms.
Slipping belt, as it is wearing Thin.
Variator Rollers stuck, worn flat.
Clutch springs, main one weakening, or the smaller ones, one breaking, or the mount point wearing, causing clutch pad misalignment.
Lastly, the clutch pad material is wearing out, but that should be obvious with metallic screeching noises.
My clutch bell warped, and I had it replaced.
You have to open up the tranny using a good impact wrench.
Note this: turn the nuts back on afterwards by hand when putting it all back together, to ensure they not misaligned (I did that) or the impact wrench will totally wreck the thread (check my posts for history)
If you a local Capie Boy, try Kymco agents, moto junction, brackenfell.ph 0219822333. They do recon clutches.
Good luck
