2008 Peoples 50 2t smokes horribly.

I have a peoples 50 2t 2008 and it smokes so bad I got pulled over for it.
I have never put oil in my gas and always used the correct 2 cycle oil in the oil tank.
Never been on it's side.
Upon visual inspection of the pump and control cable, alll looks fine and functions properly.
Not showing excess oil at exhaust either, just tons of smoke.

 Any ideas?

The seal on your oil pump could be bad, causing excess oil to drip into the cases.  Also, your oil pump cable could be adjusted too tight - but I don't think that's going to cause it to smoke so bad that you get pulled over for it!  It's most likely the seal.

 Synthetic 2 stoke oil will smoke a lot less. What law was he enforcing for too much smoke?

 I had a KE100 and it was street legal and smoked like a fogger, I loved it! I would ride
off the trails covered in mud with it smoking like crazy and stop at a light and everyone would
be looking at me!

 It might be getting too much oil. You have to watch that as more oil means less fuel so it can
lean out and seize or hole the piston...

Either too much oil, for some reason, or broken/worn out piston ring.
