I'll let the links speak for me.

Global warming, just another way of putting space between you and you money.
Thats the problem 08', i could easily post up just as many links as i wanted too that would disagree with those against climate change and prove its real. I've been pretty much into this kinda thing for a while now, looking into renewables and low energy use electrics etc ( Im an electrical engineer by trade) so i have read to up on it. I actually just applied for a new job last week in an energy management role to work with our company in reducing our carbon footprint to comply with new carbon emmissions accreditation. We need to reduce our carbon emmisions by 2% per year and i need to work out how to do this, if i get the job that is

Its actually a little bit of a myth that it cost you money to reduce your carbon output, in fact it can save you money in most cases. We spend £4,000,000/yr at our yard on just power and water, £4,000,000 every year

If we reduce our carbon utput we also reduce the cost of paying for so much power and water , o it actually saves us money i the longrun as well as reducing our carbon footprint and emmissions,we dont lose, we gain , and so does the planet

Its like the 60's all over again with the smoking/tobacco debate, big business who have interests in ignoring the dangers of climate change will and do support and fund all sorts of reports/papers/"scientists" to put out their arguement and deny the danger, all to cause confusion, delay change and keep the money rolling in. I have NO doubt climate change is real, its happening nowand we need to try at least to do something about it. I will accept that science cannot 100%say it is man-made but whether it is or not doesnt matter to me, its stiil happening and we still need to do what we can to deal with it before its too late,if its not too late already

Scotland aims to run of 100% renewable energy by 2020-2025, hopefully we'll make it. How excellent is that? All power created for free after the infrastructure and devices are in place. No nuclear, no dirtycoal or oil,and no need to import from dodgy countries with questionable leaderships? Works for me.

I think he was from Glasgow.
Sounds about right

Thats where i live, Glasgow, i love it. No one understands us, even some other Scotsmen from other areas dont know what were saying half the time, and the drunker we get the faster we talk

.
We were voted the worlds knife-crime capital of the world a few years ago and then topped it by getting the murder capital of Europe later

Next year we're going for Murder capital of the world

Its actually fine tho, when you live here you know where to go and where to avoid, who you can trust and who is out to make bother. We have an inbuild instinct to sniff out when a fight is about to break out and can get the hell out the way

Its mostly scheme related violence, street gans etc in poor areas, every city has the same bother but like you say,we like our alcohol (& drugs) so add that and it ends in chaos and mayhem.
Stilli love my city and my country, keeps you on your toes. Guess its like NY only more aggressive
