Can a 125cc cdi be derestricted on an agility 125

I have heard alot about this on 50cc i just wander if it can be done on the 125cc. If yes how is this done.

The 50cc scooters are restricted to meet moped law requirements , the first of which is that the motor be 50cc or smaller , so there is no reason for your 125cc to have been restricted .

I know for a fact that i can buy a derestricted cdi. The bike has a rev limiter of some sort cause when its wide open as hard as it will run i feel the ever so slight stall like it is stopping it from running in the red. I just wandered what the performance cdi is for?

Well you can swap the CDI... NCY makes one, and I think scooterworks sells them. Should be plug and play if the prongs line up depending on my memory of the agility 125.

Yeah they make a one. I just wander whats the dif if any. I wander if its worth the money or if anyone on here has one they have switched. Tell me if it made any diff.
