I watched a fellow in a Subaru park in front of me and joked with him when he got out, "are you still allowed to park here in Yellow Springs if you DON'T have a Subaru?"
He chuckled - "yeah, but you have to obtain a permit."
Crazy the % of Subarus we see here in Y.S. !
Not sure what "old Hippie town, and Subarus" have in common?
Nearby is the 5th oldest Subaru dealer in the USA. Heard that on the Y.S. radio station this morning.



I bought a new 1980 4 dr Subaru.  In 2 yrs both door mirrors rotted off. Rust.

I'm sure things have improved since.

had a very nice 08 Outback for 12 or 13 years...good car, but eventually the head gasket would fail in way too many of them.  I sold mine before that happened.

I used to joke with my wife that she could pick up girls in her Subaru....cuz, you know....

Isn't it the state car of Colorado and Washington? And the New England states?
