NSR: is this engine bay too clean?

Looking at a 2017 Carolla, 108,000 miles for my son. New plugs, tires, wipers, oil, filters.
Clean carmax with many services for book scheduled maint., including freq oil changes.....but...this crisp engine bay?!







interior reflects the same....


the asking price is negotiable - not a problem. But that engine bay!
That cracked engine cover is a $25 part ...snaps on.
The dealer has been around since 1965 - with a good reputation.
What da ya think?

Now that's how an engine bay SHOULD look! I love it! Funny, it doesn't look all that different under the hood than my 2006 version. Go Toyota!

Guess it's an American thing? Sears stores sold their house brand 'Die Hard' batteries for years! I guess the brand lives on after the demise of Sears.

Year in, year out - put nothing but DieHards in my cars.
Never an issue with them. Living in Mass and Ohio - always the most CCA.

50 years ago, I worked driving tow truck one winter, surprisingly, the #1 battery needing a jump was the Die Hard, don't think it was due to being a poorer battery, just thing it was the sheer number of em out there, Sears had a good ad campaign, I think they were # 1 replacement choice, that's what I had $$
