nice vid to watch on a dark, rainy morning. (although voiceover sounds like AI...it stumbled on pronouncing sohc and dohc...that's usually the 'tell')

My family owned a large Chevy dealership for years...and my Dad used to tell me that back in the early 70s both the local Honda and Toyota dealerships were offered to them, for basically free. They turned them down....because why sell a cheap joke of a car?  If they'd only known.....
2010 People S200 - sold after 8 wonderful years!
2014 Ninja 300
1996 Honda Helix
1984 Honda Nighthawk 650

There was a Buick dealer in Springfield, MASS, that gave one of those little Honda 600's free to buyers of their Mother Ship model - the Park Avenue?

My brother managed a Porsche, Audi, Honda dealership for years. I recall him saying that the Accord wagon was the only pig in their line-up.
Honda brought USA dealers to Carmel, CA, to display the new Ohio built and a Japanese Accords side-by-side. He said the tires were the only give-away. The rascal also got to play the Pebble Beach golf course as one of the perks out there!!
(I walked across that golf course in the dark one pre-dawn morning when I was hitching up the coast in 1967. I thought these folks have really nice lawns!, then I practically fell into a sand trap!)

A great vid Stig, but gut-wrenching to watch the demise of BSA, Triumph et al in all its inglorious detail.  What a shame, but no denying the CB750 was a game changer.
Regards & ride safe,
Neil
