That's hilarious - and frightening - Randy.

There are a pair of teen boys across the street - very energetic. They pass a football and run sprint drills in every kind of weather. For hours.
Lately they've asked for my help doing a front brake, and borrowing my jumper cables (3X in the same day! - "boys,
drive the truck after getting it started!")
Our relationship (?) started when they were very young - my daughter saw them standing in pouring rain waiting for a school bus - so she took them an umbrella. (I told her afterwards, "honey a 12 yr old boy can get
beat up after showing up at school with an
umbrella!")
Anyway - last fall they came knocking, "Mr Tom, we'll rake your leaves for $10."
I stepped outside for a chat. "So, explain. After you rake them into a few huge piles - then what?"
"We'll bag them up."
"And then what?"
"We'll take them away."
"Umm. Where? You'll take them away to
where?"
"Ummm, across the street."
"Into your dad's yard?"
"Ahh, no over there." Pointing to neighbor's TREELESS yard!
I tried not to laugh. "Men, all three of us will get in trouble if we move my mountain of leaves to a neighbor's yard or your dad's yard. But, thanks anyway for offering!"
Later, I paid a pro-tree co. $200 to remove all the leaves, incl. the gutters.
The rascals didn't show when I needed them for the big snow we had!
They're good kids - just wish they'd stop calling me "sir"! Makes me feel old.....
Be quiet daughter!
