KYMCO builds Massimo Zaniboni's scooter
« on: March 03, 2026, 02:52:41 PM »
Sort of reminds me of VW reaching out to Italy for the design of the Karmann Ghia. Primarily designed by Luigi Segre, from the Italian styling house Carrozzeria Ghia - and built by the coachbuilder Karmann.

Taiwanese Kymco (Kwang Yang Motor Co.) had the design house of Massimo Zaniboni draw the LIKE scooter. Designed with a blend of 1960s and 70s aesthetics and first produced in 2010 from a plant in China.

Backed by Kymco's fully transferable 2-year warranty, owner's of the LIKE found it to be so well built as to be nearly bullet proof.

Stig

and yes, the first mod made by many owners was to peel the "LIKE" script off! Embarrassing model name!

And, I'm feeling a little peculiar.
