That time of year
« on: October 30, 2025, 12:46:16 PM »
Starting to get too cool for this 81-year-old to ride here in Syracuse, NY. I changed the oil and put my scoot in my heated garage, under its cover, and on a battery tender. Hopefully an 82-year-old will be getting her back out in April to ride next year. Safe and happy riding to all you folks still riding over these winter months.

Don't blame you Mike, at your age you've nothing left to prove on 2 wheels!  Here's hoping for an early Spring for you.

Happy to say we don't any longer get the harsh winters you do, so I'll be picking my days and riding on through, just avoiding snow & ice on the odd days it makes an appearance.  (Hoping I never see a repeat of the winter of '63 in the UK which had snow on the ground for about 2 months with weeks of sub-zero temperatures!)
Regards & ride safe,
Neil
