prepping for the first cold weather ride in the morning!

This will be my first cold weather 2025 Fall riding for coffee.
Frost expected.
Find and charge up the heated gloves.
Then dig out that Japanese 'heat-shirt', a balaclava, and the big scarf.
Lay out the armored riding pants and the Froggtogg over pants.
Find the wool sox and check the armored riding boots for spiders (habit from Vietnam)

Install the liner in the FirstGear armored jacket, and lay out the wind/rain-proof Oxford over-jacket.
New ear plugs by the helmet.

Set your phone's alarm (3 x) starting at 4:45AM. Sunrise @ 8:00AM.

This is also my first ride in 30 some days - the longest no-ride period not caused by weather.

....and make certain you'll not be going off riding in your reading glasses, again!

Frost was very evident, still, on my ride home.

It fired instantly and quickly settled into a lovely/strong idle!

30 days probably felt like an eternity. Not sure I'm ready for frost rides, yet. Still feeling a little groggy from the day long tailgate and then football game yesterday afternoon...not in the best physical or mental state to be riding today! Bummer, because it is 63 F out today...beautiful Fall day.
