I knew I'd heard Hawk and Honda used in the same sentence somewhere way back....

Had one back in the '80's.  Bullet-proof and comfortable as you'd want.  A bit gutless compared to the Kawa GPz750 I replaced it with, but I still have fond memories of the CX - the model I owned was a GL500 SilverWing, it had the interstate half fairing.  Like this:

The Bearded Mechanic! Of course I'm a subscriber to his channel! Love that guy...he brings all kinds of old bikes back to life.

Those old CX500s have something of a cult following these days.
