Hawk, you've just p[rompted an involuntary recollection of that awful "Dad joke" about the old fellah who had a bunch of rabbits tattooed on his bald pate.  Because from a distance they looked like Hare!  Boom boom.  (I'll get me coat.)

we got plenty of snowshoe hare locally, haven't seen a cottontail rabbit in years, habitat loss and coyotes
