no posts from Stig / Major Tom in 4 days?
« on: September 02, 2025, 04:35:28 PM »
I have enough to worry about without wondering where our glorious leader is these days...I thought it was odd that Stig hasn't posted since Aug 29. Please tell me you're still on vacation in Florida and have been napping rather than posting!

Sure.
Just bonding with my scooter......

Seriously - imagine if that nipple had snapped off from the get-go! It was tight.
I must have searched for my SOS signaling flashlight 42 times - and who decided black handles on screwdrivers was a good idea? Why go stealth when a senior is looking for them?!

You know the rules, if you're down on the floor the searched for tool is on the bench.  If you're at the bench, then it's almost certainly on the floor; usually behind something else rendering it effectively invisible!

One of my fav gifts is a set of 3' tongs for picking things up. (yeah - daughter #4)
Working on the scoot - I was already using magnet tipped wands for retrieving metal objects - then I went in and brought out the big guns [tongs]

Daughter gives me a list for the grocery store.
I lose the list.
So she texts me in the store.

These days - muscle memory is probably the only thing that gets me out, and home, from Y.S. in the dark.
