Did some touring with friends here in northern Italy last week. One had a '25 HONDA AFRICA TWIN 1200, the other a '24 HONDA XADV 750 with all thinkable gimmicks on board.
Both had to be "sidestand/footpeg" mounted, no way to put a leg forward over.
Put always a short prayer for sidestand, frame and driver when they jumped on their rides. Stressful on all parts, inclusive rider.
Way to much electronic like automatic gear, cruise control, everything electronically adjustable, GPS, a screen big as in a car, would simply be too much for me. A christmas tree of lights.
I was so happy with my lightweight (180kg) XC 300, especially in cities.😅
