2014 700i stuck in low gear

Hi guys

Have a 700i with the lkm5 motor/trans and it’s stuck in low gear, shifter linkage is tight etc and moves threw all the gears, it will select reverse but locks the trans up.

Anyone seen this before?

that sounds like a linkage that has become disconnected or slipped inside the transmission
