Frogg Togg reflective rain over-pants
« on: March 06, 2025, 12:09:07 AM »
After many years of riding in my Frogg Togg over-pants - for cold weather riding and rain riding - I've had to buy another pair.
I was getting a little scruffy looking in my old pair....and they don't do much if holed to keep me dry or warm!

They start out rather stiff - but soften up with use.
I use them as intended - "Over-Pants" - and they keep me warmer and pretty dry, worn over my armored riding pants.
"Stylish?"....I'm a touch over 6'3", and 268lb these days - riding on a 150 cc scooter. So, use your imagination.
Still good value to me at $33.00
The reflective side piping works!

And, I'm feeling a little peculiar.

Nifty looking overtrousers Stig.  My last purchase was a pair of the Oxford RainSeal ones.  They won't win any style awards, but they work!  (As do my Baleno ones.  30 years old and still do the job!)

Regards & ride safe,
Neil

I know a Rainseal trouser will keep you dry!

But the Frogg's breath just enough to keep me comfortable in mid temps.
If I ever go back to riding in the low 20's I was thinking I'd get a pair Of Oxfords fluorescent pants.
But, not feeling it these days.......and as my scooters age - even less so.

I'm also a FT user. I wear the Hi-Viz jacket with the same over-pants Stig has. Those are the Road Toad version which is what I use. I've been using FT since 2006 and won't go back to any other. They keep my riding jacket and armored over-pants dry keeping me comfortable in the worse rains.
