Tahoe Ride for Charity
« on: January 31, 2025, 06:05:34 PM »
I'm thinking of doing a charity ride, Sutter Creek to Tahoe with an overnight in Tahoe, Tahoe lodging is on the rider, $90 donation to charity, we'll provide parking / camping venue in Sutter Creek and trailer service for breakdowns. About 200 miles round trip. Second weekend in August? Anybody interested???

What kind of scooter do you ride? I have been on many charity rides when I had my Harley FXSTD. Since then, I've had 4 scooters and only 1 charity ride. At that time, I had a '12 GTI 300. There were probably 300 bikes on the ride, and I think I was the only scooter. That plus the fact that parts of the ride were on the interstate going better than 70mph. If you have a smaller scooter, make sure of the course and speeds they will be doing. Unfortunately, not all motorcycle riders like scooters like we do and on some rides, you will be in the minority.
