125 cc valve clearance
« on: January 07, 2011, 08:58:52 PM »
Do anyone know what the correct valve clearance for Kymco Super 8 125 cc is ?
And where you have the info from.
I would also like the servicemanual for the 125 cc if anyone have it.
I already have the servicemanual for the 50 cc version but i dont think the valve clearece is the same.

I can't find the manual for the Super 8 150 either.  That Super 8 50 is good and I can't believe that there isn't one out there for the 125 or 150.
The Dink 125 valve clearance appears to be .1mm for both the intake and exhaust and I have to assume that it is a similar engine.
Do these little guys have shims the valves or are they screw adjusted?
I did the valves on my Honda VFR and had to do 16 valves!  What a pain for no significant change.

If it has the same engine as A125, and I would say yes (GY6 engine), use the specs for A125 that are all over the forum.
