Parts Supplier... maybe not!
« on: March 06, 2024, 09:48:24 AM »
https://www.bike-parts-kymco.uk

I've used this company in the past for my parts and found them to be excellent.  All change now though as this Netherlands-based company (ignore the .co.uk URL suffix!) are still blaming Brexit for a minimum order value which used to be €100, but is now €160!  So anything that's routine maintenance is out of the question with that minumum order value.  Shame, guess I now need to look elsewhere.

that's too bad. After doing the conversion, those prices look very good and shipping is even reasonable.

@Neil, knowing you put this parts exemplative, but all service items are rebranded and just put into a ziplock bag with a KYMCO ### and logo on it.
Just see a car shop with this numbers and they will find an adequate piece for you to a civil price.
This oilfilter H566 for example is an HYLO part and is around €4,50 here in Italy.
Happy and safe scootering, Ruffus

Thanks for the suggestion Ruffus and yes, I've already started trawling UK eBay for Hiflo & similar parts, but thinking O rings & crush washers may be an issue?  Still have a small stock of crush washers from my X-Town however, which I bet will fit.

O-rings and crush washers:
-any technical supplier who trades bearings sells O-rings in different specs
-crush washers are used in hydraulic systems too, so again the bearing and O-ring guy is your man.
