Brake Light only from Rear Brake Lever?
« on: August 26, 2023, 12:31:17 AM »
Has anyone seen this before? I changed the brake light bulb and noticed that the brake light only comes on when the left brake lever is pressed. There's no light from pressing the front brake.

I have no idea when that started. Any ideas?

Pls check the RH brake light switch in your RH brake assambly.
Easy test: does your scoot start when you pull the RH lever only?

It does not start when pulling the right lever.

looks like a new brake light switch is in order! Just checked Leesons..didn't see the one for the Agility 125 offered...I have to think that same switch was used on multiple models..

Maybe start with cleaning the wire connections and maybe shoot some contact cleaner into your switch to see if you can bring it back?

They are standart brake light switches RH/LH for several  motorcycle brands and models. Around €7,- apiece.
Kymco uses the one screw/ two spades type.

I haven't purchased any parts from them, just use their parts schematics. 35340 is the correct part # and the same switch as on my S200.

I ended up purchasing most of my parts from my local dealer. They always got the parts in within the week and it was a fun trip to the full line motorcycle dealer to play around with all the new bikes and then pick up my parts!

If you have the bake light switch in hand - you might just match it up with one of the many found on eBay?
