Just to be sure: has your idle screw o-ring and washer (pls see pic)
And: is your bystarter working properly, means new O-ring and gasket?

One more thing came in my mind:
-the valve needle within your carb tends to wear out on top, means, if this little washerlike piece is below one millimeter, could cause such behaviour.

Ok what is this black hole next to the brass colored part?  Is there supposed to be a screw there?
I have nothing there just the hole.   Is that where the dang idle mixture screw is supposed to be , is this the problem all along it fell out?  lol if thats what it is

not sure but probably been off for 10k miles.
I would check a parts diagram. if the fuel petcock system diaphragm has a hole or tear in it the vacuum system wont pull fuel out of tank. I don't even know if this bike has one as I have never needed to look. happened on 2 other bikes i had. easy check. seems like a fuel issue tho. or a carb problem. or a vacuum problem.

hard to see the orientation on the carb...is the hole on the top side? If so, sure looks like and air fuel mixture screw hole...

Here is your other tread.

Q: do you have somewhere on your carb a idle screw which looks like the one pictured by me?
See link

If NO, likelyhood you lost it from this hole, is high

If YES, we have to search further

Well these sure run better with mixture screws in place.   Yep it was missing and yep thats why it was dying at idle.     Glad you posted that pic, made me look for my mixture screw and thats how I
noticed that hole with nothing in it.   Oddly when I cleaned the carb I never saw this screw , even in the first cleaning and I certainly didnt have any parts leftover and I used a magnetic tray to hold everything.   So I went back and looked at my first images and I can see that the hole was filled but not with a screw but like some epoxy stuff.   So crazy  but got a screw in there now and its back to running without dying.    Thanks again

👍👍👍
..on the other hand, from tech point of view, interesting. The very old AMAL  carbs didn't have an idle screw either. One regulated idle with pre- or late ignition.

added to list of possibilities as to why scoot is running poorly...missing idle air fuel mixture screw! Crazy! Previous owner just filled screw hole instead of just replacing screw?...Nuts..
