Now having suffered an enforced scootering ban since before Christmas, I'm actually getting jealous of seeing your wet early morning ride pictures Stig!  Hopefully by next week I'll be rolling again and the 1" of snow currently lying outside will have gone too!
Regards & ride safe,
Neil

I didn't plan it so, well a couple of times~!, but it has rained on me 5 straight times now.
Days i'm free of my heavy responsibiiltiies (look, I can't even spell that word!) now...I will surely ride if temps are sane. Rain or dry.
It rained this morning here real hard for the first mile, then misted.

Just signed up for the 2023 teddy bear charity ride so I should be guaranteed at least one early morning ride this year! Hopefully in the dry.

One of my New Year resolutions was to take a leaf out of your book and embrace my occasional insomnia by getting out for a ride as an alternative to tossing and turning, whatever the time!  When I do,I’ll remember to take photos - no pics, it never happened!

Good for you.
That's one convert!
I hardly saw a car this morning. Even the cows were still in bed (in the mud! I haven't slept in the mud since I was 19)
I had no intention of riding this morning....then I checked the temps, Hopped out at 5AM, hoping my gloves still had enough charge in the for another warm hands ride. They did!

Once I cross here - that's the last of the street lights until Dino's hoves into view :-) more or less. Sort of zen time then - but you do have to remind yourself to watch for storm debris & free-range mammals.
