had company for coffee, & rare snap of Stig riding
« on: November 05, 2022, 04:47:44 PM »
Last night my daughter suggested we all go to enjoy the "lights downtown" and have coffee and pastry before sunrise this morning! (she works nights at the hosp)
Too mild a morning not to ride, so- I rode my LIKE200i downtown after stopping at Tim Horton's to pick up my coffee.  I prefer Tim's coffee and donuts to that which is sold in the fancy Euro-pastry and coffee shops downtown.
The ladies joined me at a sidewalk table after getting their coffee and pastries across the street.

While waiting for the ladies, I took a couple "mouse-cam" shots and a still-life.

"Still-life with elbow"

Fetching their coffee and pastries from the 2 shops.

It's been years since I've been out with my scooter and family together....so, my daughter took some snaps while following me home in the Scion afterwards.

Even after adding 4" to my seat height - I have no trouble flat-footing @ stops.

I'm thinking: "Circus bear on a tricycle"

This is either a cool "action" shot ....or, after thousands of miles, Stig still rides with his feet out like a newbie?

Stig

the camera didn't pick it up - but there was a hell of a lot of sparks and scraping noises going on here.....! Getting ready to put my knee down.

PS: I'm 5'5", 134 lbs - the rest you see is armored riding jacket, pants, boots and gloves. Comes to just under 6'4", and 265 on the scales.

PPS: when airing the tires I follow the instruction for "riding with passenger"

And, I'm feeling a little peculiar.
