we have a local self service wash, the kind with 4 bays, that also has a dedicated dog wash..large box?..large room? It's not one of the car wash bays but it is right next to it..a dedicated dog wash!

OMG - he's serious!
Now that my daughter is working nights at the hospital - the pup is sleeping with me (us).
I'd be afraid to go to sleep with my pup laying there, looking at me in the dark... thinking, ".....he put me through a car wash today!"

Yep, you got it Hawk, I think that's the arrangement here too.

have not seen a self service dog wash around here yet, several dog groomers in the area.  I'll have to ask my friend and neighbor who owns several car washes if he's heard about them yet.

Have only noticed grooming in pet stores locally but that could easily be because I don’t have a dog. However, as one with a avid interest in home remodeling, I have seen more instances where a pet grooming station is built into the house; typically in large laundry room. For me, I content in letting my cat wash herself.
