Looking for new rear shocks
« on: August 03, 2022, 01:09:26 AM »
I have a 2004 People 150 with 19k miles. The rear shocks no longer do their job. What are my options for after market shocks at ~$150 for a pair. I would appreciate any ideas.

There's not much aftermarket support specifically for older Kymcos. Might want to take one off and measure then search for replacement scooter shocks of the same/similar dimensions

Then...the stock shocks lasted 18yrs, if you can't find some aftermarket ones suited to the weight of your scooter with typical rider.

And, I'm feeling a little peculiar.

Good point. They have served the scooter well.  Maybe just replace with stock.

Do those stock shocks have adjustments? If so, have you tried that?

I’ve recently posted a review of YSS shocks under the Downtown sub heading.
