2007 Venox power loss
« on: July 05, 2022, 04:47:58 PM »
I recently purchased a 2007 Venox. My problem is when it gets up to around 50mph it looses it's power and acts like it's only running on one cylinder and eventually dies out. After about a minutes wait it will start and run fine until it reaches around 50 mph and then it does it again. I've replaced coils and plugs, has good gas, also added a lil seafoam. I also have a chatter or ticking sound that seems to be coming from front valve that is constant thru the rev's but quiet's down if I engage the clutch. I'm thinking the ticking is most likely valve clearance but I'm not sure about the loss of power when reaching 50mph. Is this a air problem. I'm waiting on a new air filter but is that all it could be?

Hello Kaos,
Welcome to the forum!
Hope someone will be along to offer suggestions for your Venox.

And, I'm feeling a little peculiar.
