250cc xciting ri, where is the fuel filter?

I bought the medium orange cone one (Prime line 7-02323 Fuel Filter).
The lady at Oreilly's auto parts store said that is the one it calls for.
I have already took the seat and tub, floor boards and middle section out moving some wiring around.
I don't remember seeing a orange thing.

The lady at O'Reilly's Auto Parts is selling scooter parts?!
Many scooters have the fuel filter in the gas tank attached to the end of the fuel pump in the tank.
