My new MXU 450i
« on: February 14, 2022, 02:42:33 PM »
I like this machine a lot!  Lots more pics coming as soon as the new tires/wheels and plow kit comes in.

Here it is on Day One after the racks were removed (I like the cleaner look)

KFI winch installed for the plow kit that's in the mail...

I dont mind "Kymco" on the hood but I do mind the black color, so with some dental floss...

Congratulations! Like the color scheme, mine is all black. I think the 450i may be the most popular model in atv and side by sides.

thanks!

Agreed. The dealer had one 700 Euro, one white 450i, two black 450i's and one black 450 LE.

Finished up the winch wiring this evening. The red control wire was tapped in at the accesory lead under the cowl in front of the bars and the solenoid block was mounted inside the left storage bin, under the cover.  Just had to trim some of the plastic webbing under the bottom of the cover to let it clear the block.

The Warn univesal plow mount bracket came in today and installed it. It fits well, no mods needed other than removing the plastic skid plate.

...and then attached the push tube. The 60" tapered plow, end piece and flap are arriving tomorrow!

Welcome to the forum!!
Nice looking Kymco, cool color.
I know nothing about these rascals- and I'm surprised to read that their wheelbase is  4" shorter than my LIKE200I scooter.
Makes them more maneuverable in the woods, I  imagine?
Anyway - Welcome
Great photos

All dressed up and no snow to plow....dissapointing isnt it ???
I enjoy plowing snow so winter is a waste without snow !!

That's awesome..I have the same exact one. What KFI wench did you get and what model plow? Have you used it yet to plow? Want to get mine set up the same way. Also, like the look without the racks, might copy haha. Thanks!

Looks great, your gonna have fun!!!  I have the side x side version ofvthe 450 and that is one awesome engine!  Mine has taken me everywhere I ask it to go with no issues.  Cant imagine how well that quad is gonna perform, I know how well my 1200 lb SxS performs..  Good idea on using the flat strap on your winch, the steel cables can become a real nusiance after using it a few times. Keep us posted after you get a chance to make it perform!
