Coffee Village got nutty today
« on: September 18, 2021, 10:07:52 PM »
It was "Porch Concerts" day in my coffee village today.
Musicians playing all about town on porches and behind many shops.

Wife and daughter joined me as I returned to Dino's for coffee and pastries - later, at a distant picnic table in the park, we had great take-out tacos from Miguel's - now that he's no longer jailed. (missing some paper-work :)

The village during my visit for coffee at sunrise, after my 'speed run'......

and, a few hours later......

Before heading home this morning I rode through the reservoir.

Forgot to mention one other event on the streets of the village last Saturday.
At about 2PM a group of topless young women walked in a procession around the entire downtown circuit carry signs to promote breast cancer awareness.
They must have had a permit - as a village police car lead them safely through the heavy traffic, while another did the same behind.
They seemed to be getting a lot of support from the crowds along the sidewalks and in the autos - as a lot of cell phone cameras were in action.

To quote a very amusing bystander, "I do hope those ladies are wearing sun screen!"
