Don't ignore the visor tape again!
« on: November 20, 2020, 02:51:16 PM »
Sometimes I get lazy and don't bother taping my visor to block the rising sun on the way home.
So far, I've lived to regret it....several times.
Today stopped in the park outside my coffee village, and taped.

I've been using up this tape for 7 years. Time to buy another roll!
Plenty of other ways to deal with the low sun - but I only need or want it for about an hour most days...So, the tape.
And, yeah, I have a drop down sun-glass visor inside the helmet. That darkens everything - including the shadows during the strobe effects from now-trees-now-sun-now-trees, etc..which equals being intermittently blind....in deer country :)

And, I'm feeling a little peculiar.

Helmet with visor much safer----had 2 blinding experiences yesterday with my new GMAX helmet with full fact shield---I have black tape on shield, but it still does not function as proper visor riding into bright sun/headlights!

Lovely clean Liberty Stig.  I wouldn't dare post any pics of my X-Town currently, it's filthy!
Regards & ride safe,
