Really no riding this year
« on: October 23, 2020, 03:41:36 PM »
For me this year really no riding other than local errands/shopping and the 35 mile trip to Kymco dealer in Dalton GA every now and them.

Hope this virus thing calms down---but my rule in winter for going north like WI or UP of Mich---do not do it on 2 wheels after 20 Nov

Like to ride to Key West but ride thru FL=boring, but warm.

My scooter is in fine shape---fresh drive belt, fresh tires and here I sit.

Why no riding? Most of mine is local and honey-do stuff but a trip somewhere is not out of the question so why aren't you trippin'?

Mine too this year and mainly because longer rides feel wrong somehow when so much of this country has been in either lock down or under other restrictions. Done maybe half the mileage of a normal year [emoji853]

Amen to that! You're not going to catch anything when riding on 2-wheels.  And when wearing a helmet, you don't need to wear one of those paper masks when you go shopping.

I put more miles on my motorcycle this year than ever before..but it wasn't the same because I couldn't ride to the smaller surrounding towns and stop for breakfast or lunch like I wanted to. So more miles...but less stops...

After a slow start I have had a great year of riding.  I didn't go out west like I planned but did a lot of great riding here in the Southeast.  Get out in the country and it hardly seems there is a pandemic as life seems pretty much normal.

I just got back from 5 days of riding around Tellico Plains. TN.  It was some of the best riding of my life and I never got more than around 20 miles from Tellico Plains.

Who needs to go across the country with such great riding nearby?
