Train Spotting......no, really..
« on: June 09, 2020, 03:39:34 PM »
Got trained on my way through town this moring.
A really long train - I shut my scooter off.
These trains come through town with no horn blowing - in deferance to the Marriott Hotel near the track.

The low struture left side of photo - is the Marriott's indoor pool.

I understand the sound concern. I live near the railroad hub of the south(Chattanooga), and can hear the horn from the passing freight trains 12 miles out crossing the town road up the valley. My biggest weave on the scoot was when a train parallel to the road blasted for a side road while in my blind spot. Scooterists rarely get a train in their blind spot.
