So how many mph have you tacked on to your top speed since the 30,000km mark?

..16, or so, on the top end, when running it's best...
..12-15 on it's absolute lowest speed up big hills..when running it's best...

That is impressive.
Just thinking about how much trouble I could get into with those speeds!
Probably a good thing that I went with a "P" rated tire.

I think I'd be happy with another 5-8mph.
I end up using mostly residential streets with 25 mph limits. And they really enforce these limits aggressively.
But there are some streets I'd like to drive occasionally where I'd need to be able to maintain 40mph.

..just a K&N air filter and a bigger jet would get you there...
..'xcept up some hills...
.you are derestricted, right??..
..i forget sometimes..........

Yes, I did the basic derestriction on it.
The filter and upjetting sound good - maybe upgrade the exhaust?
My thought is that I'd like to be able to hang at 40mph without running WOT so much.

..you can hang with 40, without the exhaust, and correct jetting of your carb with the free-flow filter....
..exhausts are expensive...the most expensive of the de-restrictions...

Thanks, that's good to know.
Sounds like it shouldn't be too complex - or expensive.
I'll have to start looking for that K & N filter.
