125cc city to 160cc cylinder head ?
« on: April 12, 2020, 03:11:25 PM »
Hi Guys, brought the Naraku 160cc big bore and also the Cylinder Head 160/180cc NK600.38 all was going well until I noticed the head is shorter than stock making the timing chain to slack and the cam housing short of the studs.
Ended up putting  the stock one back on, pity cos the ports were much bigger and head machined better match to piston.

Just wondered if anyone else has come across this and indeed if I've the right head or have to make do with the stock one.

Though I've not road tested it yet, its running sweet enough.....it seems.

I'm looking at getting a big bore kit for my agility 125. Did that cylinder fit in the crankcase without milling? I only do bolt on mods.
Become the best you can with what you have.

Yeah this one's fine, drops in no problem the 160cc that is. Did make the mistake of ordering the 170cc though it fits some 125's not the agility city not without milling the case as you mentioned. The original 125 head obviously fits, but it would have been better to have had the 160/180 head with the bigger ports, but hey.

Send it back for a refund!  Most vendors understand how this works, and will fix it for you.

What top speed do you get with that cylinder kit? I have original 150cc on my agility city (sold as that in my country). I get 95km/h

A big-bore cylinder kit has no effect on your top speed.
