Part numbers for gaskets/O-rings
« on: February 28, 2020, 08:05:33 PM »
I just got my Xciting 250 with 1000 miles on it and am doing some basic fluid changes. I'm stumped on what size/part number the O ring for the oil plug and strainer is. I'm about to just go with one that looks okay and give it a shot. Some people are saying GY6 stuff will work but I cant confirm that for this particular scooter. I do see GY6 printed on the metal near the lower rear.

Try taking your ring into NAPA, or try a "Help!" package of various rings at autoparts stores.
If you can get the dimentions from the parts list -order a bag of 'em for $2 online from industrial* sales.

*I bought several for my Burgman scooter this way.

And, I'm feeling a little peculiar.
