Ambient Temperature Sensor
« on: December 07, 2019, 11:29:38 PM »
I have a 2002 B&W 250. The ambient temperature on the gauge reads -188c.  I recently flushed the radiator and may have shorted it while testing the fan. Is the sensor the one that reads: Kymco D-401 TA-Young 2002 5?

Can anyone assist on resetting or which part to replace?  Thanks in advance.

The sensor is attached to the plastic grill, and has a small plug that must be disconnected if you remove the front cover completely.

There is no reset.  Perhaps your temp reading is because the plug is disconnected.  Not that the stinking things are accurate, anyway.

Part number is  37780-khe7-9000 room temp sensor.   Going to be hard to source if you want a new one.

Dan;  Thanks, I was running without the cover and unplugged no wonder it was not working.
