I am thinking about buying one, next spring---Add luggage rack/top box for dog and windshield.  First ride goal, US 50 east to west, stop, see some friends in Seattle, come home.  Price doesn't bother me, still cheaper than the competition and probably more reliable.

Las time I did US 50---was either Helix or Suzuki GS 500E....I have forgotten which.

A friend of mine just ordered a white one from the Kymco dealer in Dalton.  This will be his first scooter.  He test rode the X-town but decided to go with the Like.

That's why I mentioned he ordered it at the Dalton Dealer.  They seem to be a good dealer unlike some of the big box dealers that try to charge you big fees above MSRP.

Hopefully with a hairdryer you can peel those silly things off.
Kymco hired an Italian design house to draw the 1st generation LIKE.
Kymco should ask them to do the stickers on the 2nd gens.

While I prefer the color scheme of my 2018, I think the new graphics look good and would not peel them off.  I think they were designed to appeal to younger folks.  Maybe I like them because although I'm old I have never grown up.

These new fuel-injected sccoters are really nice performers, but if they start mis-firing, for example, you are totally dependent on your dealer to fix the problem.  There's no way a non-Kymco repair shop can diagnose these scoots. Old-tech scooters (Chinese-type GY6, for example) are easy to sort out, but the fuel-injected engines will drive you crazy if they start acting up. Make sure you have a Kymco dealer close by, wherever you go!

We'll have to agree to disagree on this one.
I for one, would not own a new scooter or motorcycle that did not have electronic fuel injection.
They are great - and are incredibly reliable.
If we had to be near a scooter dealer to own a scooter - most of us in the USA couldn't own one!

This is somewhat true but not always.  My like 150i died on me up in Ohio.  Actually it would idle but not take any throttle.  I fixed it using a few basic tools from my toolkit under the seat.

Another time it would intermittently not run.  I did take it to the Kymco dealer.  As it was an intermittent problem reading the codes didn't help any since it was working when I took it to the dealer.  In the end it was the very experienced tech who figured it out. It was a loose wire to the injector.

It's harder to take the engine out of a 2020 Honda Civic than a 1966 VW Beetle.
Been riding for a very long time.

Don't follow.
But the Civic engine will be in there providing good mileage, low emissions, and smooth power for 250,000-300,000 miles. The VW engine....won't.
