2017 K-Pipe shifter wont reset

Hi all,

I have a 2017 K-Pipe with 600 miles on it (I put all 600 on it).  I find that sometimes, especially when the engine is warm, the shifter wont reset after downshifting.  In other words, I pull in the clutch, press down to downshift, and I cant downshift again because the shifter didnt click back up.  If I let the clutch out, it will pop back up.

Any ideas on why this might happen or how to remedy it?

If this is a new bike your dealer should address the problem under warranty. I believe these bikes had a retrofit for the US market to change the shift pattern, perhaps the linkage is hanging up.
