When you pull the left brake lever does the brake light come on? Could be the switch on that side is bad or wires are loose or pulled out.

If this is a scooter...it is behind the not working brake lever. Right at/near the pivot point of lever. . Black plastic part usually. ..only a few $ if typical. On bikes it's in the open, scoots- inside the plastic panel.
Sometimes electrical contact spray will get it working if corroded.

It is a common issue. The brake light switch burns out. The main symptom is that the brake light doesn't work when squeezing the brake lever. The switch is located near the brake lever pivot and looks like a black plastic block with a small button. You can soak it with contact cleaner then WD40 and see if it helps.

FYI the issue has been fixed on the 350i model. The switch is now covered in a rubber boot for waterproofing and the brake lights are LED to reduce current load and burnout.
