It's not supposed to turn or turn alot at idle

so you have an issue to than hey?  If you look at my video here does this not look normal as it spins a little and than once I hit the throttle it takes of.

I've just checked mine and it spins a bit slower than yours on idle. But it's done nearly 80,000km so I don't see it as a problem.

Maybe I need to take the bike on a road trip and not in town to see what it is really doing on the dash?  Maybe in town is not a good way to see how it is really responding?  What do you think?

Definitely. The transmission needs to be under load for a proper rpm test.

Report back your take-off rpm and rpms at various speeds.

Report back your take-off rpm and rpms at various speeds.

Just brought the bike back to the shop.  He wants to put in the Kymco rollers not the knock offs that are in it now.  I was looking at older video's and noticed the rpm's were a little lower than what they are now.  I also noticed that as time went on the rpm's went higher and this makes me think that maybe the ware in the rollers changed the rpm's and maybe putting back in the original rollers (new one's) it maybe come back to how it was from the start?  Just me thinking here.

Hooray! Hooray for original rollers! Additionally, that turning at idle probably indicates a need for a dab of grease on that needle bearing on the gearbox side of clutch.

Oh if I only knew what your talkin about Karl I would put that grease on right now!  I am bright but don't know the language. :P :D :D I need to hang out with the boys at the garage.

I think it is 15.5 grams per roller. De dee and others have actually weighed them.

Just walked back from the garage.  Guess what! Bike needs help yup with the back part clutch?  It isn't moving properly.  He said this would cause the loss of speed. I asked if we needed parts and he said no he likely has pieces around that will work.  What could be the pieces that need replaced inside this thing?

A slipping clutch would slow the speed while the rider would crank in more engine rpm. There are three brake shoe-lookin' things that are the clutch friction surfaces in connection wth that bowl-lookin' spinning thing with the six holes. That bowl is connected to the rear wheel through the gear box. What pieces do they have "just laying around" that will fix what they think is wrong with your clutch? Have you been having problems with the clutch engaging and getting you moving?
