Had the pleasure this morning of riding my Like into town to vote, got there soon as they opened.  Good turnout all day from what I can see.  Makes me proud to see so many citizens doing their duty.

My mother and I early voted this past Saturday. The line was long. But it moved fast in spite of a bunch of long amendments. Tallahassee is nearly always drama free. But there are areas where the wait was a couple of hours , and they ran out of printed ballots . I find that inexcusable in the days of HIGH TECH.

 I rode my scooter to the polling place in the morning, voted and got a new sticker for my helmet.

Arkansas and Missouri, some of the least expensive places to live (and in the case of rural Arkansas and Missouri, poorest), just voted in a minimum wage increase to $11 and $12 respectively.

Easily a living wage for a family -- monumental.
